Mark Lawlor Carpentry floors

Our most common types of finishes would be light oak, walnut stains and so on. A light floor can really brighten up a room, which can work especially well in smaller rooms. A darker floor can really add a traditional old style feel, depending on the décor of the rest of the room. We can fit flooring that you have already purchased, or we can source from one of our suppliers and fit for you, whatever suits you best. As well as fitting the floor, we will also take away the old one if required. At Mark Lawlor Carpentry, we work on both new builds and existing homes.

Our work takes us all over Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, Kilkenny and South Dublin. To get a free quote, simply call us today.

A timber floor has many advantages, some which include;

  • Low maintenance. Wooden or laminate floors are very easy to sweep and mop
  • Perfect if you have children. Any spills can be wiped up without having to scrub – like with a carpet.
  • Ideal for those with allergies. As dust does not get trapped in fibres the way they would in a carpet.
  • Strong – a wooden floor can take a lot of wear and tear and last for years.
  • Revamping. To freshen up your wooden floors, simply call in the experts who can sand and varnish your floors so they look like new again. Another advantage to this is that you save on the cost of a whole new floor.
  • Wooden floors can add value to your property – something worth noting if you ever plan on selling your home. They can also make it more attractive to people looking to rent.
